Suchitra Shetty

A Science graduate by education, but she chose to turn her passion into her profession. An Art teacher and a Creative Artist; Writer and Poet too. Her imaginations go yonder with a bit of dramatization and fancy, taking one into a parallel world away from the mundane to the spiritual, yet closer. Her paintings like her writings explore the power of 'Light' to renew and enrich life literally, emotionally and spiritually.

Let me state my biases up front, I have had the pleasure and privilege of watching the author grow more comfortable and confident in her voice as a writer in the past year.

The story begins with a protagonist with disturbing dreams of something she believes unattainable. Life intervenes and shows her that out of even the darkest moments a light can shine and that light can brighten a multitude of lives.

Tightly written and nicely paced the story draws you in and pulls you through lives of the characters and engages your mind and emotions. Aanchal is an everywoman who sees her life have a second chance at happiness and discovers how much she likes and wants the chance while only half believing it,

Thoroughly enjoyable and worth every minute of the read.
