A short personal story of a girl who faces irrational criticism over her choice of clothing. The writer highlights how quick the society is in subjecting a young woman to baseless hatred and criticism; that too for something as inconsequential as a piece of cloth. This book also includes excerpts from her private journal and her diary.

Oh I was so drawn in! I gasped when I read the section about girls wearing an abaya to go on secret dates! There is only a short preview of this book to read online. I live in America and I'm so disappointed because I don't think I can get a hard copy nor do I think purchasing a digital version is an option for me either. I wish there was some way I could finish the rest. Your conversational style and the unique method of mixing prose and diary entries was good. The part about "comments about Muslim women start with their hair and end with their hair" really got to my heart. I'm so glad you wrote this...what little I was able to see online was good.
