I have a lot to say, but I'll keep it short!
The book is a short thriller story. It starts off slow, and as a reader I had no clue what the genre of the book was:
whether I was reading a 'diary of some wimpy girl', a descriptive essay, a bedtime tale or a romantic story. I had no clue at all until I had forced myself halfway through the book.
The first half couldn't have gotten any more boring. It was filled with -what I think of it as- unnecessary details.
And not until I had read 50% of the book, I figured out the genre of the book. (That would be because I had already gotten my hands around this book, so did not bother to read the blurb.)
Then only did the book begin to get interesting and spicier.
Commenting on the writing, the book was written well considering this was the author's first time writing a book (with only a few mistakes which I noticed and counted)!
The story, however, has some flaws, which can be overlooked, if you try to read it putting aside what the words: sense and logic, mean and define!

Overall I'd rate the book 7/10
(3.5 stars isn't a thing, and I'd rather add half a star than drop it :) )

Amazing!! I wasn't able to put the book down Quite the page turner. It kept me guessing and wondering who the culprit was.

The book was truly a delight to read! It is absolutely THRILLING the way the story unfolds, I got goosebumps ngl. The story was very well written with the ability to make the reader glued to the pages. I think I am developing a fondness for mystery novels now!
However the starting was a little slow but it helped me to grasp and understand all the personalities of the book which made me feel attached to all the characters, especially Julie. I would recommend everyone to read it, it will leave you with a lot of emotions and realizations!!!
