Shoaib Rashdi, an aspiring polymath, began his literary career in 2018 when his short story entitled Birth to a Dancing Star became a finalist in Literati – South Asian Award for Micro-Fiction Season 1 held by Daastan in collaboration with White Falcon Publishing and was subsequently published in the same anthology. As a writer, his work has been featured on both national and international platforms. More recently, he was one of the winners of the #WeToo Short Story Writing Competition held by Daastan in collaboration with StoriestoAction. He is also one of the co-authors of WriterTalks' A Chronicle of Memories Volume One.
