What characters work out the hard way. These are not proverbs handed down; they are conclusions somebody reached in the middle of a story, usually after getting it wrong first.
“How could he get him to understand that he wished nothing more than to wipe the whole thing from his memory but the nightmares refused to leave him alone?”

“Sameer always felt that she was overfilled with her thoughts and wanted to pour her heart out but her dumbness placed a permanent obstacle in the way; “what a life of hindrance…” thought Sameer.”

““We can’t always protect the ones we love,” Ansa gazed off into the distance lost in her own thoughts.”

“Adnan learned that to earn the clients' confidence and to keep them happy is imperative even if you cannot deliver the work on time.”

““I didn’t mean that Stu, It was innocent” cried Haley but the only thing that clanged in his mind was the picture of his wife kissing another man who was none other than his best friend turned office colleague.”

““So much to do, it’s time to gear up,” he thought as he sipped off his coffee on the way to his car.”

“Leila muttered an almost inaudible thank you, and busied herself in gobbling down chicken biryani- life is not always bad, she thought as she helped herself with another heaping serving spoon.”

“Not that she was scared that he may change his mind, but somehow she always had been so tight lipped that she just couldn't talk about it.”

“When one can forgive oneself, there is an end to karma, an opportunity to create a new reality and the peace that passes all understanding.”

“In her heart, she still thought of the place as a great puzzle and of herself as the last missing piece.”

“Dream large he thought, chase those dreams, at the end of the day the music he loved was something only for himself.”

“The man had then advanced on Leila and she was frozen in fear; no spell came to her mind but there was a shout from behind and a blast and the man disappeared.”

“Dismissing all his thoughts from her mind, she walked to the gate to see her father waiting for her.”

“Guidance in the heart of a man is just like a deep and calm water, only a man of understanding could draw it out.”

“At times, we smoothly belittle other people’s experiences as if whatever they have suffered and whatever they have been through is nothing but trash.”

“At night, when the dinner was going to start, I thought that the food would be good but it was not, they were servingshrimps!”

“My mind wandered over to trees basking in the sunlight; to those being drenched in the rain; to the grass in our lawn; and to the color of my kit...”
