PREFACE

A soul’s perspective is completely different from its counterpart, ego self, which is responsible for developing a sense of individuality in human beings.

Some of us manage to find a way to reconnect with our inner selves (soul), while others do not. The whole process of finding and tuning in is called “soul searching” and requires an active and conscious effort. It has more to do with imploring the realms within, rather than exploring the outside world.

I always feel blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting my soul, quite early in life. The wisdom that it has brought me has immensely helped me in taking impactful decisions throughout my journey so far. It has shaped my life and made me who I am today, something that I would never regret.

However, this encounter has left me with a greater purpose of sharing this beautiful experience with everyone. The only thing that has so far driven me in this pursuit is the prevailing sense of responsibility, the eagerness to pass on this eye-opening insight so that everyone can get a fair chance to meet their soul counterparts and redeem their lives while they can.

I started this project with the sole purpose of waging war against ignorance. As the bearer of the truth, I pledged to become a warrior and chose a pen as my weapon. Hence, the title of the book, The last pen bearer.

This book is based on personal spiritual experiences and is a combination of unpopular genres, like philosophy, metaphysics, spirituality, and metaphysical fiction, to some extent. Unlike mainstream genres, these combinations have a long way to go before they receive the recognition they truly deserve.

This book is a compilation of sets of question-and-answer sessions related to various aspects of life that are often overlooked by almost everyone. The questions are grouped under separate chapters, by their relevance. It is also noteworthy that the two significant characters of this book are the author's own Ego Self and Soul Self. Therefore, any dialogue in this book is between the author's Ego self (consciousness) and its counterpart, the Soul self (sub-consciousness).

For the sake of clarity, the interviewer, Ego Self, and the interviewee, Soul Self, have been differentiated by their respective initials, ES and SS.

PURPOSE OF THE BOOK

The reason that we feel lost and confused in our lives many times and often suffer from various symptoms of mental illnesses (the common ones being depression and anxiety) is mostly because of detachment from our soul. We suffer either due to our ignorance or the ignorant ones around us. One way or the other, what we face today as a society, is due to the lack of awareness, acceptability, and sheer acknowledgment of the truth amongst the masses, and that I believe is the root cause of all the prevailing problems.

This book serves the very purpose of creating awareness and shall bring forth the truth by giving an insight into the realm of the subconscious mind.  Most importantly, it will formally introduce you to your soul!

IMPORTANCE OF THIS BOOK

In a world where we desire and seek love and attention from others, we often miss out to love, respect and give attention to our souls. It usually never occurs to us that the first and foremost relationship that needs to be sought and built is the relationship with our soul. Unfortunately, most of us remain oblivious of its active presence, purpose, and preferences, and many of us even die without knowing the truth.
