My common sense compels me to dedicate this book to my hardworking father, mother, extremely loving and dedicate wife and 3 heartbeats (Omar, Ayaan, and Jasim)
But,
Uncommon sense is asking me to dedicate it to all those idiots who made me doubt the idea of common sense enough to generate the spark of Uncommon Sense!
Thank you all!
The worst way to make money through a book is by simply selling it as a commodity. On the other hand the best way to generate millions and possibly billions is by challenging and then implementing the learning in your own style.
I have designed this book especially for those who find it difficult to make time to read a book or generally are extremely busy in watching memes and forwarding reels all day long that reading becomes an unbelievably painful task.
Each chapter is NOT related to any chapter. But if you read the entire content you would be able to connect the dots to eventually get to the bottom of the uncommon concept.
The best way is to read one topic daily. It would hardly take a few minutes of your time to read, analyze, think and implement the findings from the book.
Let’s keep our minds open and dive right into it.
Throughout our lives, we have been taught about time management! A phrase that is used so often that it has completely lost its charm and charisma!
And what has happened to you so far?
Nothing really!
So, what is an uncommon approach to time management?
It's to create more time!
Now, I know you must be thinking about some mysterious or magical secret that will instantly turn you into a master of time!
That surely isn't going to happen. But first things first, how many times have we been told that sleeping for 8 hours is absolutely essential?
That is such a load of horseshit (with due respect and the disclaimer that I’m not a doctor, but this is based on my own personal experience and research).
Imagine you have 60 years to live. If you spend 8 hours a day sleeping, you have wasted 1/3rd of your life in bed! Terrible!
So what does this have to do with creating time? Simple! If you take away 2 hours of sleep from your daily routine, let's do the math!
2 hours x 7 days = 14 hours per week
If we spread it over 365 days (1 year), it would be:
2 hours x 365 days = 730 hours!
Amazing, isn't it?
Do you have any idea what 730 hours mean in terms of days?
Let’s find out: 730 hours/ 24 hours = 30.4 days!
That's a whole month!
So what does this mean? It simply means you’re a step ahead of the competition. While everyone else has 12 months in a year, you have cracked the code and have a full 13 months!
All it takes is a small sacrifice of 2 hours on a regular basis! Don’t jump right into it and overwhelm you. NO!
You can start with reducing your sleep by 20 minutes daily. This will gradually build up your self-confidence, and eventually, you will end up with 13 months in a year!
At such a young age, we are easily fascinated by the 'cool kid' on the block! This person is a popular figure in the institution. Guys like to hang out with him, and girls also try to get his attention. The same goes for the Beauty Queen of the batch!
Have you paid close attention to this popular person? Are they really what everyone thinks they are? Do they have substance? Or are they just good at communicating with others?
Think about it!
I want you to take a moment here and really think about Mr/Ms popular. What do they do when they're around people? Do they talk or listen more? And even when they talk, is it about them or is it about YOU?
I guess you have a fair idea of where I'm going with this!
Now imagine yourself. Do you try to imitate this person? Or do you simply spend your time admiring them? There is nothing wrong in admiring someone, but there can be a serious problem with it too! Let me tell you what the major issue is here.
Our subconscious mind starts giving signals to our conscious mind, and we end up becoming a second-class copy of an original character! We become lost in the quest for admiration and fame!
How to overcome this issue? Trust me, I'm talking from personal experiences! Back in my college days, there used to be a guy who lacked substance big time (in literal terms). The only way he had gained popularity was by insulting others! Other kids would laugh, and he'd get a kick out of it! Fast forward 23 years, he's now a loner, as everyone from that class had realized what kind of person he was. Now, the tables have turned, and he faces the insults!
Ironic, isn't it!?
The way you can overcome this feeling is simply by:
- Observation
- Limiting YOUR supply
It's a universal law of economics that anything in abundance loses its charm, demand, and vanity! Limiting yourself and keeping your supply to the bare minimum would eventually give you ultimate power over others! And power is not only respected, but it also gives you lasting popularity too!
Now let's say some popular person from your batch was given the title of a 'loser.' Though you're fond of that person, but just to get on the bandwagon, you agree with the majority! And if this person is you, drop me a message on Facebook, and let's have a conversation about it!
I want you to seek substance!
A lot of times, our judgement becomes fuzzy because of society's pressure. In my personal experience, that person is NOT a loser. They are simply on the path of either being a threat or being perceived as a threat to the 'cool kid.' So how does the cool kid tackle it? By simply using their persona and labeling the 'threat' as a loser!
At this age, we hardly know how to think! In fact, we are not being taught and trained on how to think! Let alone think analytically or creatively!
Just be very careful when you're following the masses, as most of the time, the 'M' is silent! Back in my college and university days, I was somewhat of a different person! I have seen popular students end up becoming losers eventually, and the weirder losers end up super successful!
Remember to embrace your weirdness, though, as your weirdness is what makes you, YOU!
In other words, your best friend is only your friend because they found you weird! Otherwise, you'd just be the average Joe!
They say you eventually become what you eat? No! This is debatable!
Now here's the twist:
"Your perspective and perception of the world are influenced by what you eat! Here is how:
Eating junk and processed food simply gives you a junked perspective and perception towards others!
Whenever you meet someone, unless it’s your favorite celebrity or influencer, you feel terrible deep down! You tend to lose focus on opportunities. In fact, your perception is so junked that these opportunities become 'mission impossible.'
