A printer quotes you a good per-copy rate — at a thousand copies. You do the sums, convince yourself you will sell them, and pay. Then nine hundred books live in your spare room for three years.
The money is not really the loss. The loss is that you now cannot afford to reprint when the book finally finds its readers, because your budget is sitting in boxes.

Printed proofs on press runs Available once a job is big enough to go to press, and charged separately. On a short digital run there is no proof stage — we say so rather than let you assume one.

Questions people ask
What is the minimum print run?
Fifty copies. Deliberately low — a first-time author should not have to commit to a thousand books to hold one.
How long does printing take?
10–15 working days from final file approval. A reprint is the same, because the files are already with us.
Can you print a book you did not publish?
Yes. If you already have print-ready files, printing is available on its own.
Why is colour so much more expensive?
A colour page costs many times a black-and-white one and it is charged per page per copy, so a fully illustrated book multiplies fast. A few colour plates is usually the sensible middle ground — and the calculator makes the difference visible before you commit.
Do you keep my files for reprints?
Yes. Archived, so a reprint costs you an email rather than a re-typesetting bill.
Can you deliver outside the big cities?
Yes. Our courier reaches 871 cities and towns across Pakistan, and we have already shipped to 324 of them — Gwadar to Skardu, Chitral to Thatta.
