The White Lie is a dystopian political thriller set in 2036. A novella-length book, it traces Praetorian Foreign Minister Shahzain Magsi and his right-hand man Hasan Murtaza’s journey as they try to circumnavigate Praetoria's treacherous political hinterland as government officials who do not sit well with the landed elite that had ruled the country up till that point.

The White Lie revolves around Magsi and Murtaza as they try to organise the 2036 OIC Summit in Halore. Many feathers are ruffled; from bureaucrats, army men, journalists and lawyers to name a few. The love life of one of the protagonists burgeons in the backdrop as all roads lead to Halore for the 2036 OIC Summit.
