Transportive.
That’s what I would call this book. One moment I am sitting on my bed reading this book, and the next thing I know, I am beaming in the blazing heat of Islamabad, with Masha and Zamil
Neha has a way of transporting me with her beautifully written words and fully immersing me into the story. Not to mention that layered over the entire story is the buzzing of magic and mystery. It kept me turning the pages, eager to understand just as much as Masha did.
Now I know enemies-to-lovers gets all the hype these days, but this friends-to-lovers tale is a slowburn masterpiece that deserves just as much hype. I absolutely love the dynamic between Zamil and Masha and enjoyed watching all their awkward, blushing, hesitant interactions as their relationship grew into something deeper.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It held the perfect amounts of magic, realism, friendship and family dynamics, romance, and mystery to keep me hooked throughout the story, all the way to the end (a.k.a. the part with the tears. All the tears).

It took me so long to write a review of Tamancha because I wanted to find the perfect words to describe this beautiful novel. I’m not usually a fantasy/magic reader (I like my plots firmly rooted in reality) but I’m a lover of mystery, friends to lovers stories, melancholy writing and a good village setting so I was dying to read it.
The story was captivating, the characters were so relatable and the writing was a thing of beauty. Magic usually pulls me out of a story (since, you know, I don’t have any) but Masha and Zamil's magic was woven so seamlessly into the “real world” and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next book!

absolutely in love with this book. especially the characters. i can feel the whole vibe. author deserves an applause for writing zamil. he's not a character. he's emotion. a feeling.
ending made me sad. not sad sad but THE SAD.
I got ny hands on Otorva first. Happy that i read it. gave this novel a chance too. Amazed how author has a command on both languages. especially the vocubs. inspiring.
the stroy starts beautifully, graduall your interests starts to built and then there will be a time when you no more want to be in this world and want to loss in the mystery. love how alk characters are inter rekated to each other. its hard to do But has done beautifully. over all good to read. add this in your TBR.
I love this novel and my cute friend writer Neha rizvi. Novel is awsome speechless. I have no words to explain how i was excited to read this novel. Masha was excellent act and ALLAH PAK ap ko bhtt se kamyabiyn daikhna naseeb kre agr 10 star b hote i rate 10/10 very very veryyyy superb novel i like it your way of talking

Neha Rizvi is a tremendously talented writer. Can't believe it's her debut. The entire story flowed flawlessly, the characters were vulnerable and peculiar and the pacing was perfect.
I had the great gift of reading an early copy of Tamancha and was hooked from the start. This book takes me back to the stories that made me fall in love with fantasy in my early teens. what a perfect blend of mystery and romance, humor and comedy, dark and light, lesson and learning.
Neha Rizvi is a Star.

I devoured this book in 1 1/2 days (I did have to work) Neha's writing is so fluid, she wraps you in a story you don't want to end! I laughed, I cried and I felt all the teenage angst of years ago. A must read.
Well also looking forward for a sequel where I get to read more of Ahmer and Masha, Diyar and Nooreh, Saaeda and Ahmer, and Zamil and Masha.
loved this kitaab! The teenage love paired with the mystery of magic had me on the edge of my seat. The author did an incredible job of making me never want to out this book down! I hope a sequel is in the works!
I'm writing this review because the opinion that matters most to me is my own. It hasn't always been this way, but that's the why I'd like it to be from now on.
So here it goes. This is a beautiful novel, an excellent novel. These characters are real & funny & smart & lovely; they are a joy to spend time with.
The story surprised me & I know it will surprise you too. I'm proud of the intensity, the dialogue, the twists & turns, & the love story that was so easy to fall in love with.
And the ending. I'm so proud of that.
5/5 would highly recommend.

Loved this book! An amazing Novel carrying a beautiful storyline... however the whole book is full of romance, comedy, and drama but the haider and masha Kitchen part is one of my favourites.
This was just beautiful. The story warmed my heart, and I plan on reading it all over again starting tonight.
TAMACHA is, and will remain so close to my heart.I love every bit of Tamacha! How beautifully the writer "Syeda Neha Rizvi" point out the sensitive societal issue of "honor killing" ..The chemistry between Masha and Zamil stole my heart! ..It's a worth read novel and I think everyone should read it .. I'm sure they will love it just like I do
loved the plot. especially the end. it was tragic. wasn't expecting story to be the way it turned out.
